You, as a government official, would be forced to choose between money or being shot. On occasion, your life was spared only to watch your loved ones being shot one by one. What the Netflix series Narcos, fails to depict are the many government officials, lawyers, judges and journalists who lost their lives or those of their loved ones in the attempt to uphold the rule of law. Many of these great men and women believed in making Colombia a better place and faithfully carried out the duties of their roles....
