B.C. moves on single-use plastic bans

By Ian Burns ( September 17, 2020, 7:46 AM EDT) -- The B.C. government has taken a number of steps to allow municipalities to ban single-use plastics after the provincial Court of Appeal struck down a prohibition on plastic bags last year, but an industry representative said those moves are not necessarily the right steps to take and is calling on the federal government to take a new approach to plastic recycling which would allow for more recovery and reuse....
