“We are actively exploring additional dates for the lawyer licensing examinations in late summer/early fall,” the announcement stated.
The LSO’s release explained that an administrative call to the bar process “will be made available to candidates who have fulfilled licensing requirements so they may proceed with the next phase of their legal careers without delay.”
“We are also working on a plan for a celebratory event to take place at a later date so that candidates may join friends, family and colleagues to mark this important milestone. We will provide further details as soon as feasible,” it added.
The LSO also noted that adjustments may be made to the paralegal licensing examination that is scheduled for July 30, 2020.
The LSO has also extended its remote working protocol for its staff until May 1.
“We will continue to update the professions as the situation evolves,” the announcement stated.
