LexisNexis Canada’s new CEO Wright focuses on unique needs of Canadian legal market

Law360 Canada (October 9, 2018, 2:28 PM EDT) -- LexisNexis Canada has announced the appointment of Eric Wright to the position of Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he will lead LexisNexis Canada in “Advancing What’s Possible” in the practice of law by continuing to evolve its decision and analytics tools.

Prior to joining LexisNexis, Wright was senior vice-president at Info-Tech Research Group, where he was responsible for the delivery of advisory services and commercial activities within the IT Research division. He led the organization’s transformation from a product-oriented focus on written research to a service-oriented focus on advisory and software as a service solutions. He has also held leadership roles at multiple consultancies, including Deloitte Consulting, where he was a leader in their Customer Management practice. Wright is a certified management consultant (CMC) and received an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. from Western University.
